Objective: To analyze the outcomes and the prognostic factors of related HLA haploidentical non T cell-depleted in vitro peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(RHNT-PSCT)for adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL). Methods: From July 2005 to June 2015, a total of 50 patients of adult ALL treated with RHNT-PSCT in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed, 20 before 2012 and 30 after 2012.26 patients are males, and other 24 cases are females; of these patients, 42 cases obtained the first remission(CR1), and 8 cases are in late CR; the median follow-up for all patients was 21.5 moths(range,2-126 months). Results: Hematopoietic reconstitution was achieved in all 50 patients. The median of neutrophil and platelet count recovery were:13d(range,9-30d) and 14d(range,10-31d). Of all 50 patients, three-year estimate of overall survival(OS) rate was 63.3%, events free survival(EFS) rate was 60%, cumulative incidence of relapse(CIR) rate was 29.4% and nonrelapse mortality(NRM) rate was 20.8%. Compared the patients treated in 2005-2011 with 2012-2015 transplant group, the three-year OS, EFS, RR, NRM rates were 55% vs 74.1%, 47.6% vs 74.1%,36% vs 24.3%,28.4% vs 14.1%, and the differences between two groups were statistically significant. Conclusion: RHNT-PSCT for the treatment of adult ALL patients could achieves promising long-term survival, and the outcome of adult ALL patients improved significantly over the last 4 years.
