Objective: To analyze the etiology of Department of Neurology of corpus callosum lesions, clinical symptoms, imaging features, differential diagnosis and prognosis. To deepen the clinical doctors’ understanding of the corpus callosum lesions, diagnosis and treatment in clinical work better. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 109 patients with corpus callosum lesions in the No.1 Hospital of Jilin University from September 2013 to December 2015. Relevant cases and laboratory data, including general information(age, gender),cerebral vascular disease risk factors(hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, coronary heart disease, history of smoking and drinking, etc.), history of stroke(cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage), the etiology of corpus callosum lesions, clinical manifestation, imaging examination, clinical diagnosis and prognosis in patients. The clinical manifestations, signs, imaging features and prognosis of the corpus callosum lesions were classified according to different causes, and the characteristics of different lesions of the corpus callosum were summarized. Results: 46 cases of pure corpus callosum infarction, 29 cases with corpus callosum hemorrhage, corpus callosum degeneration in 7 cases, 24 cases of reversible corpus callosum lesions syndrome and 3 cases of dysplasia of corpus callosum.Patients with corpus callosum infarction are associated with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia and other cerebrovascular disease risk factors. The clinical manifestation was unresponsive, indifference expression, abnormal changes in personality, temperament(nonsense, abnormal behavior) is relatively rare.Disturbance of consciousness appears rarely. In infarction of knee and body, there are many patients with vascular atherosclerosis and Stenosis.Nonsense, abnormal behavior is characterized by the corpus callosum hemorrhage. There was no evident difference in proportion to the pressure of the knees and bodies of corpus callosum hemorrhage. Vascular malformation, aneurysm are common causes of corpus callosum hemorrhage.Patients with corpus callosum degeneration can increase the muscle tension. Patients with epileptic seizure and disturbance of consciousness associated with poor prognosis.Reversible lesions of the corpus callosum in the patients with acute mild brain disease symptoms.MRI of the head of the corpus callosum reversible lesions can be fully recovered in the short term. Epilepsy, mental retardation are the main symptoms of 3 cases of dysplasia of the corpus callosum. Conclusion: The etiology of corpus callosum lesions is complicated and various. The clinical manifestations of corpus callosum lesions caused by different causes are different.
