| Objective:80% of the pancreatic carcinoma patients lost their chances to take PD when they came to hospital first time。Only palliative surgey can not extend their disease-free survival 。 A retrospective analysis about the hospitalization time、hospitalization cost 、postoperative complication rate and morbidity survival time between the palliative surgery group and the palliative surgery group associate with the pancreas radioactive particles implantation and evaluate the effect of two different treatment。Methods:we collected 43 cases of advanced pancreatic head malignancy,which were enrolled in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2014. According to their imaging and laparotomy results, none of them was suitable for radical resection and some palliative treatments were performed alternatively: Group1:only perform palliative surgery 。Group2:the palliative surgery group associate with the pancreas radioactive particles implantation. Compare their hospitalization time 、 hospitalization cost 、postoperative complication rate and morbidity survival time.Result:According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,included 43 patients。Treatment for two groups results are as followed:The average incidence of postoperative complication rate(37%vs37.5%,p=0.976,p>0.05),average hospitalization days(postoperative)(11.7±2.,8vs12.5±3.1,p=0.41,p>0.05),average hospitalization cost( 48714±4088, 57393±4296, p<0.001,)、average survival period(month)(6.4±1.1vs7.8±1.5,p<0.05).Conclusion:Through the analysis of the results we can obtain:1、The treatment of the palliative surgery group associate with the pancreas radioactive particles implantation worth acknowledging。2、the pancreas radioactive particles implantation didn‘t rise the postoperative mortality and hospitalization time.3、the pancreas radioactive particles implantation can extent the survival time effectively for the advanced pancreatic carcinoma. |
