Background and Objectives:, The scholars domestic and oversea pay more attention on Progressive ischemic stroke(PIS) that is a major subtypes of ischemic stroke(IS) and seriously affecting the prognosis of IS patients,because of its high disability rates and mortality rates.Now there is a number of studies to prove that: hypertension,diabetes,smoking and drinking are related, But there are less reasearches which different level of fibrinogen play the role in PIS at home and abroad.This topic is to investigate the function of different level of serum fibrinogen in PIS,and to provide prediction effect for the prevention and reduction of IS,,improving the prognosisof patients.At the same time we make a comparison between PIS and non-PIS group and explore the relationship between the changing of fibirongen level and the occurrence of PIS.Methods:In this study,there are 3 groups.That is 65 PIS patients,77 non-PIS patients and healthy group.IS patients,inculding PIS and non-PIS patients,are selected randomly from patients who were hospitalized in the neurology department of first hospital Jilin University from June of 2014 to June of 2015 as PIS group.38 healthy people are selected from the medical examination center.We compare and analyze the fibrinogen levels in serum between the three groups mentioned above, and at the same time make analysis and comparison on the differences of age, sex, smoking, hypertension, diabetes, blood lipid, hypersensitive c-reactive protein and homocysteine factors between PIS and the non-PIS group.Meantime we also analyze therelation between fibrinogen with smoking, hypertension, diabetes,hyperlipidemia, hypersensitive c-reactive protein and homocysteine.Results:(1) The factors,gender and age,have less effect on the transforming from PIS to non-PIS.(2) Most of IS patients are exacerated within 7d.(3) Single risk factor analysis shows:There are renarkable differents between PIS and non-PIS group in hypertension,diabetes,SBP level and DBP level(P<0.05). Among these results, The level of SBP and DBP of PIS group’s admisson is above the non-PIS group.(4) Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed: the increase of the level of fibriongen and is the independentrisk factors of PIS, and positive correlation with the level of fibriongen.Conclusions:(1) the increasing of the level of fibriongen and Diastolic blood pressure are the independent risk factors of PIS; hypertension,diabete and the increasing of the Systolic blood pressure are non independent risk factors;(2) High blood pressure, diabetes can increase the levels of fibrinogen in different degree among the patients who get PIS and non-PIS;(3) In the acute phase of cerebral infarction, clinician take some appropriate measures to interfere with the patient’s fibrinogen levels in serum, which may be to reduce the occurrence of the PIS to PIS, improve the prognosis of patients with cerebral ischemic stroke.
