Epidemiological Characteristics Analysis Of Tuberculosis In Kunshan City From 2006 To 2013

Objective: To understand the epidemic characteristics and influencing factors of tuberculosis in Kunshan city, explore the countermeasures of tuberculosis prevention and control for science provides of "TB control planning thirteen five".Subject and Method: Summary and analyse data of tuberculosis report and registration situation in Kunshan city from 2006 to 2013, use Excel2003 and Spss18.0 for statistical analysis, compare data between groups by Chi square test.Result:1.The incidence of tuberculosis in Kunshan city were declining year by year.It was54.22/100000 in 2006,and 27.69/100000 in 2013.2.The registration rates of active pulmonary tuberculosis patients were from37.02/100000 to 25.99/100000;the cure rate of smear positive were from 89.06% to93.56%.3. The city rate(33.86/100000) was higher than the suburb’s(25.53/100000),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.001).The difference of men’s average registration rate(39.21/100000) and women’s average registration rate(19.20/100000) were statistically significant(P < 0.001).The highest registration rate of age groups was 15-group(52.57/100000),and followed by 25- group(34.70/1000000).Workers were more than other occupations. The most disease patients were in May.The difference of age groups registration rates was statistically significant(P <0.001).Workers(61.12%) were the most occupations. Throughout the year all have come on,give priority to with second and third quarter, up in May.4. The smear-positive registration rates of floating population were higher than the population(P < 0.001). After implementation of the global fund program, the smear-positive patients cure rates increased significantly from the previous year(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.The incidence rates and the registration rates were at a low level; the focus were men, 15-34 years old people and workers; the regions were urban(Yushan town and Development Zone); time were the second and third quarters. 2. The current problemsof Kunshan City were that medical cooperation mechanism was not perfect, and the progress of the multi-drug resistance was slow. 3.The next step we will continue to improve the service system, improve the incidence rate of tuberculosis patients,pay high attention to the treatment of patients with multi-drug resistant management.
