Objective To investigate the correlation between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and bone biochemical markers in postmenopausal women of Uygur and Han nationality. Methods 800 cases of subjects were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University in July of 2014 to August of 2015. Postmenopausal women were divided into non-alcoholic fatty liver group(case group) and normal group(control group). Uygur and Han nationality group had 200 people respectively. The blood and bone biochemical markers were detected and the correlation analysis was carried out. Results Triglyceride(TG)、Total Cholesterol(TC)、High density lipoprotein cholesterol( HDL-C)、 Low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) 、Lipoprotein a(LP-a) 、 Non Esterified Fatty Acid(NEFA) in the case group were significantly higher than those in the control group and had statistical significance(P<0.05). Two age groups(46-54 and 55-64 years old) of postmenopausal women, s-BAP and s-NTX in the case group were significantly higher than those in the control group and had statistical significance(P<0.05). The OT and Tr ACP case group were significantly higher than those in the control group and had statistical significance(P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences between the Uygur and Han postmenopausal women’s bone biochemical indicators(P<0.05). TG, TC, HDL- C, LDL- C, LP- a, NEFA and s-BAP, OT, s-NTX, Tr ACP have correlation(P<0.05). s BAP and LDL-C were significantly positively correlated(r=0.777,P=0.038), OT and NEFA were significantly negatively correlated(r=-0.766,P=0.041),s-NTX and TC were significantly positively correlated(r=0.841,P=0.021),Tr ACP and TG were significantly positively correlated(r=0.752,P=0.035). By multivariate logistie regression analysis results showed that age(2? =9.321,OR=3.777,P=0.001), nation( ?2 =8.756,OR=3.078,P=0.003), alcohol(2? =0.118,OR=3.098, P=0.003), menopausal status( ?2 =8.011,OR=0.226,P=0.005), and the number of children(2? =9.619,OR=3.066,P=0.003). Conclusion There is a certain correlation between the serum index and the bone biochemical parameters of the non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in postmenopausal women. And this study was contribute to diagnosis and treat of abnormal bone metabolism in postmenopausal women with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
