Background:Nosocomial infection increases the death rate of VLBWIs and the medical cost. This paper studies the nosocomial infection pathogenic bacteria of VLBWIs to provide clinical diagnosis and treatment for nosocomial infection.Method:This paper makes a retrospective analysis about the nosocomial infection condition of VLBWIs who has been received and cured above 48 hours in the NICU of Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from Jan.2010 to Dec.2011.And compare the different hospital condition and general condition of VLBWIs domestic and overseas.Outcome:The nosocomial infection rate keeps consistent with recent year domestic level and more than abroad. The Gram negative bacteria are the most and still a little fungus, with no gram positive bacteria. The main infection site is respiratory tract then the digestive tract. The hospital infection time is earlier. And the gestational age and birth weight of VLBWIs are larger than abroad. Conclusion:The difference of nosocomial infection site may be the main factor for producing difference of the nosocomial infection pathogenic bacteria except for different epidemic pathogens, hospital equipments and general conditions of VLBWIs.
