OSAHS is a more common disease in clinical refers repeatedly episodes of upper airway stenosis or obstruction during sleep, there snoring, apnea or inadequate ventilation, causing excessive daytime sleepiness and other symptoms of the clinical syndrome. Its incidence increased gradually, which might be associated with the increased number of obese people nowadays.OSAHS can lead to hypertension, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, arrhythmia, heart failure, cerebrovascular disease and eye disease and other complications. In recent years, a large number of clinical data demonstrate, OSAHS patients may be associated with a variety of retinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma retinopathy, central serous retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, etc. Further study of the machanisms of OSAHS leading to these complications, will contribute to a better prevention and control related complications and improve the quality of life of patients. For patients suffering from these eye diseases should be noted to ask if there is a history or symptoms associated with OSAHS, for OSAHS patients should also be concerned about the visual acuity, visual field and fundus, etc.In order to strive for the early diagnosis and treatment of eye disease to reduce induced blind chance.
