| The incidence rate of bone fracture is very high and the time of fracture healing is so long, it is very easy to have the phenomenon of delayed union or non union in the process of fracture healing. How to improve the quality of fracture healing and promote fracture healing has been a key research field of experts at home and abroad all the time. Research has showed that low-load mechanical vibration can promote bone fracture healing. In view of bone cells exist adaptability fatigue to vibrant stimulation. To explore the effects of continuous and intermittent vibration on bone fracture healing and grope for the best intermittent vibration period and to provide theoretical support for clinical treatment of bone fracture healing, continuous vibration and intermittent vibration of different vibration period were perpendicularly loaded to bone respectively in this study.Ninety 12-month-old short tailed Han sheep were selected and randomly divided into ten groups, each group had nine sheep: BCG(blank control group, without any treatment), SOG(sham-operation group, incision), IFG(internal fixation group, incision + plate fixation), NHG(natural healing group, incision + plate fixation + fracture surgery + no vibration), CVG(continuous vibration group, incision + plate fixation + fracture surgery + continuous vibration), 1IVG(1 day intermittent vibration group, incision + plate fixation + fracture surgery + 1-day-interval vibration), 3IVG, 5IVG, 7IVG, 14 IVG, and each group has one spare. Vibration experiment was carried out at the end of 2 weeks after bone fracture surgery, vibration frequency F=35Hz, acceleration a=0.25 g, each tine vibrate 15 min, vibration direction perpendicular to the vibration table. Continuous vibration, that is to load vibration every day. Intermittent vibration, that is to vibrate N days the rest N days, in this reciprocal to the end. All sheep were sacrificed at the end of 8 weeks after experiment. Analyzing the situation of bone healing through three points of views, qualitative analysis of scanning image, quantitative evaluation of bone microstructure and evaluation of finite element mechanical compression simulation. The results showed that the vibration is of great significance in the process of fracture healing. Vibration can improve the quality of fracture healing, improve bone microstructure and improve the mechanical properties of bone, so as to promote fracture healing. From the perspective of promoting effect, intermittent vibration is better than continuous vibration, which 7IVG can significantly improve the rate of grade III healing and significantly improve mechanical properties and is a kind of high density, high volume fraction, compact trabecular structure. Therefore, the effect of 7IVG on promoting bone fracture healing is best. |
