Objective : To explore the safety and effectiveness of total colon resection in the treatment of colonic slow transit constipation.Method: Get the Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital of Jilin University Gastrointestinal colorectal surgery From January 2005 to January 2015, total colon resection was performed,Clinical data of 33 patients with slow transit constipation treated by anastomosis of ileum and rectum, Postoperative defecation cycle、Colonic transit testas as well as Abdominal distension、appetite、intestinal obstruction And other complications. And all patients were followed up after surgery.Results: Is a worthy of promotion,no anastomotic leakage occurred、Incision infection 、 complications such as abdominal infection and intestinal obstruction,After operation, only 1 cases had abdominal pain(Preoperative presence),symptomatic relief after treatment,no refractory diarrhea occurred during the period of hospitalization. All patients were followed up,The longest follow-up period was 6 years,The shortest follow-up period was 5 months,3 months later, it was gradually reduced,3-4 times a year / day,Two years after 2-3 times / day,Four years after 1-2 times / day. n one case, 6 months after operation due to urinary retention caused defecation difficulties,Retention of urine after the recovery of normal bowel movement.Conclusion: Total colon resection,Rectum end to end anastomosis of ileum and rectum is safe and effective for the treatment of colonic slow transit constipation. Is a worthy of promotion.
