The tumor is one of the three major threats to human health including immune diseases and cardia-cerebrovascular disease. The first part of article summarizes the classification of tumor, and the anti-tumor mechanism of Chinese medicine on tumor. Dracocephalum hetecophyllum Benth. and Ligularia, which have anti-tumor, heat-clearing and detoxifying effect are selected for the research. Dracocephalum hetecophyllum Benth. is prepared and optimized for formula of total flavonoids tablets. Ligularia essential oils are investigated on their chemical compositions and screened bioactivities.In the experiment of "preparation and optimization of formula of total flavonoids tablets from Dracocephalum hetecophyllum Benth.", wet granulation by the multifunctional complex auxiliary materials, the Starch 1500 and PH 101, with extract, and then only microscale magnesium stearate is put to make tablets. Using the angle of repose, hardness, disintegration time as evaluation index, the optimized prescription ratio is obtained by orthogonal experiments. The best ratio of granules is total flavonoids extract of Dracocephalum hetecophyllum Benth.- Starch 1500 - PH 101 (17:25:60), then put 1%o of magnesium stearate into the granules which are finally made into tablets. The optimized prescription technology of the total flavonoids tablets of Dracocephalum hetecophyllum Benth. is simple and applicable. It has good feasibility of transformation for practical production which is certified by the qualified quality of tables in pilot tests.In the experiment of "screening of chemical compositions and bioactivities of Ligularia essential oils", Ligularia essential oils are obtained from Ligularia virgaurea (Maxim.) Mattf., L. przewalskii (Maxim.) Diels, L. nanchuanica S. W. Liu, L. fischeri Turcz and L. sibirica var. racemosa (DC.) Kitam with steam distillation method. The chemical compositions of Ligularia essential oils are analyzed by GC-MS. DPPH and MTT methods are taken to screen antioxidant and antifungal activities of Ligularia essential oils. Five Ligularia essential oils have certain DPPH inhibition rate on the test concentrations. The MIC test shows that essential oil of L. virgaurea and L. nanchuanica has antifungal activities against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The study provides basis for further development of the medicinal plants of genus Ligularia.Biotransformation of compounds, which shows the advantage compared with chemical transformation due to it’s smaller pollution and toxicity, becomes more and moer popular. At the same time, because of living in the plants, endophytic fungi secrete several substances or involve in the metabolism of plants. Endophytic fungi are often used as the source of culture for biotransformation. The second part of article summarizes the biotransformation of compounds, and storage of production with compounds. Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, is a plant of Gardenia in Rubiaceae, which is selected for the research. Gardenia leaves are investigated on their chemical constituents and preparation. Gardenia endophytic fungi are investigated on metabolic function.Getting geniposide, quercetin, kaempferol,β-sitosterol, a-Gardiol, P-Gardiol from Gardenia leaves with extractive separation, column chromatography, Pre-HPLC in chemical constituents and preparation of Gardenia leaves.24 kinds of strains, which have ability of hydrolysis geniposide, are isolated and identified from Gardenia endophytic fungi for metabolic function by HPLC.4 kinds of strains, which have better ability of hydrolysis geniposide, are identified as Colletotrichum gloeosporioides (QG-1), Alternaria arborescens (QG-3), Diaporthe phaseolorum (QG-12), Pestalotiopsis microspora (QG-21), and are shown with dendrogram for the evolution status. QG-3, which has the best ability of hydrolysis geniposide, has measured the hydrolysis of geniposide by time curve. In order to know metabolic function of endophytic fungi more, make lucubrate about development and utilization,4 kinds of endophytic fungi are investigated on hydrolysis with geniposidic acid, rutin, resveratrol glucoside, Rhaponticin, emodin glucoside and Gardenia oil.4 kinds of endophytic fungi have certain ability to hydrolyze the glycosidic bond with HPLC. QG-1 has certain ability to open the double bond in unsaturated fattyacid of Gardenia oil with GC-MS. These studies provide scientific basis for chemical constituents and preparation on Gardenia leaves, and lay foundation for the further research on development and utilization of Gardenia endophytic fungi.
