| Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of budesonide/formoterol for children/adolescent Asthma. Render the evidence for the reasonable treatment of children/adolescent asthma.Methods:The papers related to budesonide/formoterol treatment for children or adolescent asthma were searched in the database of MEDLINE, PubMed, Cochrance, EMBASE, CBM and CNKI, Statistical analysis was performed by using Review manager 5.1.Results:a total of 15 studies involved a total of 3027 children/ adolescent asthma were analysed,1198 cases in the budesonide/formoterol treatment group and 1829 cases in the control group. The asymptomatic days and the times of waken up at night has the homogeneity, Asymptomatic days of budesonide group compared with the control group was significant [OR= 1.19,95%CI (1.01,1.40), P=0.04]。conclusion:Budesonide/formoterol can effectively relieve the symptoms of children/adolescent asthma, improvement of the lung function and the adverse reactions can be tolerate. |
