The System Evaluation For The Antioxidant Treatment Of Diabetic Nephropathy

Objiective:To evaluat systematically the effect of antioxidants in the treatment of diabetic nephropathyMethods:To intake randomized controlled trials about using antioxidants in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy by computer searching the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane library. To proceed meta-analysis using RevMan 5.3 provided by Cochrane CollaborationResult:There are ten studies involving 752 patients been intaken. The result of meta-analysis show that there are no statistical differences between antioxidants and control group in correcting Glycated hemoglobin A1C,high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein, triglyceride, systolic blood pressure and renal function. But there are statistical differences in reducing urine protein, malondialdehyde and diastolic blood pressure.Conclusions:Antioxidant therapy of diabetes nephropathy have exactly curative effect to reduce proteinuria and diastolic blood pressure that providing new hope for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
