Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the prosthodontic treatment using chair side CAD/CAM lithium disilicate ceramics applying to patients with anterior tooth defect.Methods: The patient with tooth defect who came to Xiamen Dental Hosptial in last two years was given different treatment plans, according to patients, oral condition, and economic situation and through displaying the process of designing with CAD/CAM in cerec 4.2, thus making the blue print.Result: All patients and doctor were satisfied with improvement on the function and esthetics when finishing the treatment at first. After three months later, both doctor and patients were satisfied with the effect of treatment, according to the American public health association of the revised standard to evaluate the clinical effect of restorations.Conclusion: the treatment of anterior tooth defect using lithium disilicate reinforced ceramics meets requirement in esthetic outcome, the process of CAD/CAM designing is crucial to promote the communication with patient which leads to success.
