Objective:Through the comparison with the number of positive lymph nodes, explore the influence and prediction effect of the rate of lymph node metastasis(RML) with T4 gastric cancer patients in postoperative survival time and ending in death. Methods:A retrospective study of 119 T4 gastric cancer patients who underwent radical surgery(≥D2), Spearman correlation analysis studys the correlation of the RML with the total number of lymph nodes, and the number of positive lymph nodes(p N)with them;Log-Rank test and Cox proportional hazards regression analysis were used; drawing ROC curve, the prediction effect of RML and p N are compared in the ending in death and the length of the survival time of Death patients in T4 gastric cancer patients.Results:(1) The RML didn’t correlate with the total number of lymph nodes(r = 0.008, P =0.932), the p N was highly correlated with total number of lymph nodes(r = 0.289, P =0.001);(2) RML was found to be the independent factor affecting the prognosis of the T4 gastric cancer patients.(3) The area under the curve and the sensitivity of RML were better than p N.Conclusions:RML for T4 gastric cancer disease inspection were not associated with the total number of the lymph nodes, the RML in the survival time and the influence of the prediction effect of the ending in death is better than p N in T4 gastric cancer...
