Objective:Get the monochromatic energy image from energy spectrum CT scans for different solitary pulmonary nodules. To investigate the value of energy spectrum CT for the discrimination of solitary pulmonary nodules through monochromatic energy imaging and multiparameter quantitative measurement. Methods:Totally 41 patients with SPN accept CT scan by GSI mode, all the cases with pathological results. All images were reconstructed for analysis: CT value under different ke V(40ke V-140 ke V) and curve slope(40ke V-80 ke V), the water concentration(WC),iodine concentration(IC).Results:The IC of malignant SPNS, benign SPNS, inflammatory SPNS were 1.284±0.250g/l,0.915±0.242g/l, 1.320±0.310g/l, curve slope of CT routine scan were 0.13±0.008,0.16±0.008, 0.22±0.007, curve slope of CT enhanced scan were 2.45±0.14, 1.47±0.17,2.51±0.11.There were significant differences in the value of IC between malignant SPNS and benign SPNS, inflammatory SPNS and benign SPNS, the curve slope of CT routine scan between malignant SPNS and inflammatory SPNS, the curve slope of CT enhanced scan between malignant SPNS and benign SPNS, inflammatory SPNS and benign SPNS.The WC of CT routine scan and enhanced scan were 102.376±1.416g/l,101.410±1.782g/l, 102.982±1.370g/l, 102.772±1.466g/l, 102.040±1.820g/l,103.527±1.326g/l. the were no significant in the value of water material between SPNS.Conclusion:A, Energy spectrum CT provide more valuable for clinical quantitative and qualitative information form accurately measure the SPN CT value and iodine-water content. B, Energy spectrum CT has very important value for the discrimination of malignant SPN,benign SPN and inflammation SPN.
