Objective:To research anatomy of the contraction of flexion and interossei muscles after trauma, and discuss the corresponding treatment plan. Methods:Check out the related literature on anatomy of crus and malleolus of the calendar year, analyzing the changes in the anatomy of crus injury, confirming the anatomy factors of contraction of flexion and interossei muscles after injury.28 patients including 7 patients with simple contraction of flexion muscles and 21 patients with contraction of flexion and interossei muscles were enrolled from Jan. 2014 to Jan. 2015.And the degree of contracture were divided according to the flexion and ankle dorsiflexion range of activities, interphalangeal joint and active extension degree: Grade I, II, III degree. According to the operation results, choosing the treatments with the lengthening of tendon, tendon transfer or tenotomy of limb deformity correction.Following-up all patients for 3-9 months after operations, to measure the the flexion and ankle dorsiflexion range of activities, interphalangeal joint and active extension degree, and evaluate the curative effect by the results. Results:There were 7 patients with simple contraction of flexion muscles, and 21 patients with contraction of flexion and interossei muscles. 15 patients treated by the tendon lengthening.7 patients treated by the transfer of tendon.6 patients treated by the tenotomy of interossei muscles. The follow-up time was 3-9 months, an average of 5.4 months,The evaluate:22cases(78.6%) were excellent(including 5cases of simple contraction of flexion muscles and 16 cases of contraction of flexion and interossei muscles); 4 cases(16%) were good(including 1 case of simple contraction of flexion muscles and 3 cases of contraction of flexion and interossei muscles); 2 cases(5.4%) were acceptable(both were contraction of flexion and interossei muscles). Conclusions:The formations in anatomical basis of the simple foot flexor contracture and flexor contracture with interosseous muscle contracture are different. The simple foot flexor contracture can be caused by traumatism and ischemia. But the most causation of the flexor contracture with interosseous muscle contracture is ischemia. Also because of the variant connection of Flexor Hallucis Longus Tendon and Digitorum longus, the symptoms of the two damnification are different. So the diagnosis and treatment should be differentiating.
