ObjectiveComparing unilateral and bilateral CAGE clinical effect in lumbar disc discectomy and security.Methods1. In accordance with the group’s continuous mode selection required surgical treatment of 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation, according to admission records tail number parity divided into observation group and control group, 50 cases in each group. 2.Two groups of patients were treated with posterior lumbar decompression and fusion with internal fixation, the observation group Cage unilateral surgical control group with bilateral Cage surgical procedures. 3.The postoperative follow-up of a monthly telephone and ask the patient feels, based on the recovery of patients after surgery to determine their own to the hospital to check the time, no special happens who require postoperative 1,3,6,12,18 months to the hospital for examination. 4.Observe the indicators:(1)To compare two groups of patients with the average operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative bed time, length of hospital stay and cost of treatment;(2)According to pain visual analogue scale(visual analog scales, VAS),To compare two groups of patients with preoperative and postoperative VAS score and postoperative VAS score good rate;(3)Based on Disability Index Evaluation Form(Oswestry disability index, ODI),Patients were evaluated beforesurgery and postoperative scores ODI case, and to compare two groups of patients with preoperative and postoperative ODI score and the fine rate;(4)The postoperative 1,3,6,12,18 months, shooting lumbar lateral flexion and had held out the power X-ray film,to measure the height of the intervertebral disc, compared with before operation;(5) by CT scan to determine the two groups of patients with postoperative Cage alignment 6 months and 12 months. 6. Compare two groups of patients with postoperative complications. 5.The data from application of medical statistics software SPSS19.0 analysis, P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results1.The observation group were compared with the control group, the average operation time is short, less blood loss, postoperative bed time is short, low cost of hospitalization, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). 2.The patients of the observation group a month after surgery VAS scores, ODI scores than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05), after two groups of patients 3,6,12,18 months VAS score, ODI score was not statistically significant(P> 0.05), patients in the observation group a month VAS scores, ODI score was 87.23% excellent higher than the 76.09%, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). 3.Two group patients after surgery 3. 1,3,6,12 months, the height of the intervertebral space were followed to reduce, but after six months after the intervertebral stable, after 12 and 18 months and compare after six months intervertebral height difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05);1,3,6,12,18 months of postoperative intervertebral height difference of two group patients was not statistically significant(P>0.05). 4.Six months interbody fusion of the observation group patients was 82.98%, lower than 93.48% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05), after 12 months in the observation group interbody fusion rate 97.87%, less than 100%of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05). 5. The two groups were no postoperative complications.Conclusion1.Unilateral Cage treatment of lumbar disc surgery less invasive, early rehabilitation can help reduce the cost of treatment. 2.Unilateral Cage early postoperative treatment of lumbar disc pain, long-term pain and improve bilateral Cage desirable effect. 3.Unilateral Cage treatment of early postoperative lumbar disc than physiological function improved bilateral Cage, long-term improvement of physiological functions and bilateral lumbar Cage is no different. 4. Unilateral Cage in improving intervertebral disc treatment, the clinical results of the desirability of bilateral Cage. 5. Unilateral Cage disc after 6 months of treatment interbody fusion rate was slightly lower than the bilateral Cage, but the long-term convergence rate is no different. 6. Unilateral Cage treatment of disc high security.
