Objective To explore the relationships between the serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D(25-OHD) and development of diabetic retinopathy(DR) with type 2 diabetes. For the patients who in early DR provide clinical basis for the treatment and prevention, strive to find effective treatments to improve the prognosis.Method We selected 618 patients with type 2 diabetes who in Cardio-cerebral Vascular Disease Hospital during October 2012-July 2014.All entrants are in conformity with the WTO in 1999 diabetes diagnostic criteria.According to the results of the non-mydriatic fundus camera will be divided into: without diabetic retinopathy group(NDR group,n=405), diabetic retinopathy group(DR group,n=213),including non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy group(NPDR group,n=160) and the preproliferative diabetic retinopathy group(PDR group,n=53).Recorded all the patients with general condition, and checked the 25-OHD,Hb A1 C,TG and BMI, recorded all participants’ fundus changes.Analyzing data using SPSS17.0 software.Using mean ± standard deviation described results.Using Spearman collection analysis and Logistic regression to represented correlation. Results 1.There were no significant difference between NDR group,NPDR group and PDR group with BMI level(P>0.05),the gender was significant(P<0.05).2.From the NDR,NPDR,PDR group to group, course of disease,Hb A1 C,TG gradually increased, the difference was significant(P<0.05);The 25-OHD levels in DR group significantly lower than in NDR group, the 25-OHD levels in PDR group significantly lower than in NPDR group, the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).3.25-OHD was significant associated with age,Hb A1 C,TG and course of disease.25-OHD was associated with increased risk of DR.Conclusions 1.The gender, age, course, glycosylated hemoglobin and triglyceride are independent risk factors of diabetic retinopathy.2.The level of 25-OHD was associated with diabetic retinopathy, it was a independent risk factors of DR.The lower 25-OHD level is, the heavier lesion degree of DR is.3. Early detection of 25-OHD levels may help early speculation of DR lesion severity, early replenish its level may prevent and delay the occurrence and development of DR.
