Objective: To discuss the correlation between RHR—resting heart rate and blood pressure parameters, left ventricular hypertrophy, intima-media thickness of patients with primary hypertension in Xining area.Materials and methods: To select 162 cases of patients with essential hypertension, and divided them into three groups by the level of RHR, RHR 1 group: RHR<70/min,RHR 2 group: 70/min≤RHR<80/min, RHR 3 group: RHR≥80/min. All selected patients should do the check of blood pressure monitoring, cardiac color ultrasound and carotid artery ultrasound, and then make a comparison between three groups.Results: The differences in SBP between RHR 3 group and RHR 1 group were statistically significant(P<0.05), also between RHR 3 group and RHR 2 group(P<0.05), The differences in DBP among three groups There were no statistically significant(P>0.05). Compared with RHR1 group, the level of LVEDD, IVST, LVPWT and LVMI in RHR2 group and RHR3 group were significantly increased(P<0.05), and compared with RHR2 group, the change in RHR3 group were more obvious(P<0.05). The differences in IMT between RHR 1 group and RHR 2 group were statistically significant, and between RHR 1 group and RHR 3 group(P<0.05 or P<0.01), but there were no statistically significant differences in IMT between RHR 2 group and RHR 3 group(P>0.05). There were positive correlations between RHR and SBP, LVMI, IMT(P<0.05), and there was a negative correlationbetween RHR and LVEF(P<0.05).Conclusions: There were closely related between faster RHR and SBP, left ventricular hypertrophy, IMT. |
