Objective Discussion within small incision endoscopic duodenal balloon dilatation joint effectiveness and safety and clinical value in the treatment of large stones in the common bile duct. Methods A Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, Endoscopy Center of Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University and medical records room provided within January 2004 to November 2014 endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST) and a small incision endoscopic papillary balloon dilatation joint (ESBD) patients met the study criteria of 546 cases of patients with common bile duct stones stone retrospective analysis, statistics and compare the two groups by double guidewire cannulation, the stone and the recent case of the incidence of complications. Results OK EST stone 294 cases, 252 cases of stone ESBD row, two of which were a clear 262 (89.1%) and 224 cases (88.9%), the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05); lithotripsy uses the number of cases were 83 cases (28.2%) and 34 cases (13.4%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); The mean operating time was 36.2±13.3min and 21.5±8.9min, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Early complications occurred EST group seven cases of acute pancreatitis, hyperamylasemia 19 cases, 9 cases of cholangitis, bleeding five cases; ESBD group of nine cases of acute pancreatitis occur hyperamylasemia seven cases, cholangitis 13 cases, two cases of hemorrhage, the overall incidence of early complications in the two groups was 16.3% and 11.5% respectively, the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). Conclusion (1) ESBD is an important way of treatment of common bile duct stones. (2) ESBD group and EST group in a clearance rate of early acute pancreatitis, cholangitis incidence fairly, but in the gravel filter usage, the average operating time and early high starch hyperlipidemia, bleeding superior EST. (3) ESBD treat large common bile duct stones safe, effective method widely used in clinical practice is worth.
