Purpose:To research micro RNA-21(mi R-21)`s expression on serum and urine of uroepithelium cell carcinoma of bladder as well as its relation with clinical pathology, and to discuss its clinic significance in diagnosis and prognosis detection of uroepithelium carcinoma of bladder.Method: 60 cases in serum and urine of patients with uroepithelium carcinoma of bladder are selected and 60 cases in serum and urine of healthy adults. Realtime PCR method is applied to monitor the differential expression in miR-21 in serum and urine of patients with uroepithelium carcinoma of bladder before or after operations as well as healthy adults to collect clinical case data of patients and to analyze the relation between miR-21 in serum and that in urine.Result: The expression of mi R-21 in serum with urothelium carcinoma group is significantly higher than that in healthy adult group(P<0.001) while in urine, that in cancer group is significantly higher than that in healthy adult group(P<0.001).In serum and urine of cancer group, infiltration group, transfer group and high-grade group,miR-21 expression is significantly higher than that in healthy adult group;Meanwhile,we find that there is statistical significance in the expression of mi R-21 with tumorous transfer(P=0.007),tumorous infiltration(P=0.037) and tumorous classification(P=0.015),but there is no obvious statistical significance in the expression of mi R-21 with patients’ age, gender, cancer location and size. Conclusion: It is both expressed highly of microRNA-21 in serum and urine of patients with carcinoma of urinary bladder. It is closely related with the higher expression, neoplasm staging, differentiation, transfer of serum and urine in carcinoma of urinary bladder, which is possible to be a new index and potential therapeutic target for prognosis and diagnostic testing of carcinoma of urinary bladder.
