Brain-Computer Interfaces(BCIs) provide non-muscular conmunnication and record brain activities from the scaple directly, then translate it into computer signals. As a new human-computer interaction, BCIs have been using in Rehabilitation of disable, High-risk operation, Psychology congnition et al. Many reseach groups are starting a research in laboratory about BCIs system. This paper is researching algorithms of brian signal processing, which was used in the Steady-State Visual Evoked Potential(SSVEP) BCIs system. SSVEP can be recorded easily, and don’t need taining. so it has important implication for BCIs system.Author introduces the definition of BCIs system and several types of EEG signals firstly. Then summarizes the research statuses and significances of BCIs. According to the characteristic of the SSVEP and refer to the basic design methods and ideas of BCIs system. Author introduce the design of SSVEP-BCI system which recording brian signals. To process the EEG signal, we have to preprocessing the EEG signal firstly, and then processing the signal by FFT(Fast Fourier Tansform), MEC(Minimum Energy Combination), and CCA(Canonical Correlation Analysis). The author also discusses the applications of brain signal processing in detecting Brain injury patient’s consciousness. According to the result online and offline, and compare the result of patients and normal people, wefind this system can detect the consciousness of Brain injury patient.
