Clinical Application Of Domestic Non-bracket Invisible Appliance In Treating Mild To Moderate Crowding Malocclusion

Objective: By comparing with the traditional straight wire system, the domestic non-bracket invisible appliance was studied on treating mild to moderate crowding malocclusion, including treatment effects、treatment efficiency、and their comfort level in the start stage,to provide the evidence for our clinical research.Methods: 1. Collected 24 cases of patients which have already been completed during June 2012 to March 2015 in Orthodontics, they are come from Stomatology Hospital of Shanxi Medical University.The 24 cases are all mild to moderate crowding. Domestic brackets and traditional treatment each have 12 cases. The PAR index before treatments of the two groups of patients were statistically analyzed, if the difference between the two groups has not statistically significant, we can say the two groups were comparable. Then study the two groups/ treatment effectiveness, efficiency and intensity of pain that started within a week. 2. Damon self-legating bracket is the representation of traditional straight wire system, invisible appliance are produced by Shanghai era Angel Company.Results: 1. Analysis Two groups of patients, no statistically significant difference were found between the treatments. We can say the two groups were comparable. 2. The change of PAR index of two groups/ patients was not statistically significant, and there was no statistical difference between the two treatment methods for the treatment of mild to moderate crowding malocclusion, the therapeutic effect of two groups/ patients were satisfactory. There was statistically significant in the treatment time, the time of invisible orthodontic treatment longer than Damon group. 3. Pain intensity during 24h、2d in the two treatment methods has statistically significant, the group which without brackets is less Pain than Damon brackets groups.Conclusions: 1. Domestic appliance without brackets stealth technology can effectively treat common malocclusion.The treatment of mild to moderate crowding is the most effective. 2. Compared to Damon brackets, patients using Domestic appliance that without bracket feel lighter pain and discomfort and take less time.
