Clinical Observation Of Two Operation Methods For Angle-closure Glaucoma

Objective:To observe and compare the clinical effect and complications of trabeculectomy combined with cataract phacoemulsification extraction+ intraocular lens implantation and simple cataract phacoemulsification extraction+ intraocular lens implantation in the treatment of primary angle-glaucoma and cataract, to provide a reference for the choice of surgical approach for clinically.Methods:Review from May 2014 to December 2014, Shanxi Eye Hospital glaucoma division inpatient diagnosed primary angle-glaucoma 50 cases 52 eyes, divided into two groups according to different surgical methods: 27 cases of combination group patients used trabeculectomy combined with cataract phacoemulsification extraction+ intraocular lens implantation and 25 cases of simple group patients used simple cataract phacoemulsification extraction+ intraocular lens implantation. To compare the related data and complications of the two groups of patients before and after surgery, and do the statistical analysis and comparison.Results:Visual acuity, intraocular pressure, angle changes, anterior chamber depth, both of these data had obvious difference of the two groups of patients before and after surgery.No obvious difference was found between the two groups of above four aspects. After surgery,the review of gonioscope and UBM examination showed that angle opening effect was obvious, both had changed to wide- narrow range of II. But complications occurred in the combination group was higher than simple group.Conclusion:Both surgical methods are an effective ways to the treatment of primary angle-closure glaucoma combined with cataract, cataract surgery alone is simple and has fewer complications, it can be widely used in clinical.
