Objective:Diabetes(Diabetes Mellitus DM) on cerebral white matter lesions(white matter lesions WML) the severity of the presence of influence, Diabetes and other cardiovascular disease risk factors in cerebral white matter lesions on the presence of synergy, severity evaluation of white lesions of the brain cognitive function is accurate. Methods:Choose between April 2014 and February 2014 in the second clinical medical college of shanxi medical university nerve in 2 families after cerebral MR examination clearly there are 150 cases of hospitalized patients with cerebral white matter lesions, selected cases were aged over 55, 65 years old the following, all inspection glycosylated hemoglobin, and general history data collection, according to Fazekas image evaluation questionnaire do imaging score, according to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, will be graded according to the imaging score and cognitive function in patients with all were divided into mild, moderate and severe groups, analyze any correlation between the two kinds of scoring system. The second step, the application of rank and inspection, analysis according to the imaging score divided between three groups of glycosylated hemoglobin, diabetes duration of presence of statistical difference.Third step, imaging rating as dependent variable, in a variety of possible dangerous risk factors as independent variables, do more value and orderly multiple logistic regression analysis, analysis of diabetes is a risk factor for cerebral white matter lesions, and it is concluded that risk. The fourth step, analysis of other risk factors and diabetes in brain lesions on the presence of synergy between white. Results:Imaging score was associated with cognitive scores(P < 0.05), but the correlation coefficient is not high(r = 0.022809).The rank and inspection, glycosylated hemoglobin and cerebral white matter lesions images correlated with severity score(P < 0.001), fixed number of year of the diabetes and cerebral white matter lesions images correlated with severity score(P < 0.05);Multiple logistic regression analysis by the multi-value orderly, diabetes makes a 3.728-fold increased risk of brain white matter lesions, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, high homocysteine levels are a risk factor for cerebral white matter lesions;Diabetes mellitus group of cerebral white matter lesions in patients with hypertension to the danger of brain white matter lesions coefficient is 4.569, higher than pure cerebral white matter lesions group was 2.671; mellitus group hyperlipidemia disease caused the risk is6.451, higher than that of pure cerebral white matter lesions group 5.500;Diabetes mellitus group of patients with cerebral white matter lesions caused high homocysteine levels, the risk is 6.705, higher than that of pure cerebral white matter lesions group 5.124.conclusion:Although the cognitive function has correlation with the severity of cerebral white matter lesions, but the relationship is not close,.Diabetes is an independent risk factor for cerebral white matter lesions, including hypertension, hyperlipidemia and high homocysteine levels, and diabetes in the process of cerebral white matter lesions have synergy.
