Objective:To investigate the chronergy for Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment on Brain Traumatic injury. Methods:We selected 269 cases of traumatic brain injury patients which came from the Department of Rehabilitation of People’s Liberation Army 94 hospital between the April 2013 to December 2014 and all of patients had received conventional drug treatment or conventional drug treatment with hyperbaric oxygen therapy and performed a retrospective analysis. These cases include 112 cases of slight head trauma patients, 88 patients with moderate traumatic brain injury, 67 patients with severe traumatic brain injury. According to these patients whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy had been used in the treatment of traumatic brain injury were divided into 2 groups of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the treatme nt group and no hyperbaric oxygen therapy group(conventional therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy is not involved). According the time hyperbaric oxygen therapy using to these patients can be divided into four groups: A group(less than 15 days after the injury), group B(16 ~ 30 days after injury), group C(more than 31 days and 31 days after injury), group D(no hyperbaric oxygen therapy). Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the treatment group with three courses, the negative control group were not treated with hyperbaric oxygen. Before treatment, patients were scored through GCS. And patients were scored through GOS after HBO treatment. Then we compared the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on each group. Results:(1) Comparison of hyperbaric oxygen therapy group and the negative control group, the efficiency has significantly different(P <0.05), GOS score after treatment were compared, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(2) A group of patients with GCS score before treatment was 9.72 ± 3.56, B group of patients with GCS score before treatment 9.85 ± 3.24, group C patients before treatment GCS score 9.78 ± 3.72, C group of patients with GCS score before treatment 9.52 ± 3.44. A group of patients with GCS score after treatment was 13.94 ± 1.01, B group of patients with GCS score after treatment was 12.61 ± 1.09, C group of patients with GCS score after treatment was 11.78 ± 1.21, D group of patients with GCS score after treatment was 10.73 ± 1.08.(3) A group of patients after treatment in accordance with the GOS Score: 0 patients is 1 point, 1 patient is 2 points, 1 patient is 3 points, 17 patients is 4 points, 49 patients is 5 points; B group of patients after treatment in accordance with the GOS Score: 0 patients is 1 point, 1 patient is 2 points, 9 patient is 3 points, 21 patients is 4 points, 41 patients is 5 points; C group of patients after treatment in accordance with the GOS Score: 0 patients is 1 point, 4 patient is 2 points, 14 patient is 3 points, 10 patients is 4 points, 37 p atients is 5 points; D group of patients after treatment in accordance with the GOS Score: 0 patients is 1 point, 10 patient is 2 points, 19 patient is 3 points, 7 patients is 4 points, 28 patients is 5 points.(4) Univariate analysis showed that: occupation, education level, cause of injury in hyperbaric oxygen therapy for traumatic brain injury was not statistically significant(P> 0.05). Age, disease degree in hyperbaric oxygen therapy for traumatic brain injury was statistically significant(P <0.05). Conclusions:Univariate analysis showed that there is no impact on the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for traumatic brain injury in gender, occupation, income, education level and injured methods. The early hyperbaric oxygen treatment is better than delayed treatment for traumatic brain injury patients.Compare with the young patients, the elderly patients who have traumatic brain injury and be treated by hyperbaric oxygen have poor prognosis.Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in patients with moderate and severe traumatic brain injury traumatic brain injury patients, their prognosis compared with the conventional treatment group there was a increase(P <0.05). Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in patients with mild traumatic brain injury, the prognosis is no differe nce compared with conventional therapy group(P> 0.05)...
