| Purpose:Diabetes is a high incidence of whole body chronic endocrine metabolic disease in the world, its late common complications besides not only large vascular lesions and microvascular lesion, but also bone metabolic abnormalities caused by disease, severe cases can lead to osteoporosis.Current studies show that people with type 1 diabetes the influence of the controversy on bone metabolism without dispute, it is has been recognized by the most people in the industry, but the influence of type 2 diabetes on bone metabolism has no unified conclusion, the research has also been related.Bone metabolism biochemical indicators reflects the human body is undergoing bone turnover rate and can predict the future tendency of changes in bone mass to a certain extent, and to choose interventions for the treatment of osteoporosis drugs provide certain guidance function.Current studies suggest that osteocalcin, bone alkaline phosphatase associated with bone formation and positively correlated relationship, such as type I collagen peptide C end is a certain relationship with bone resorption and have a negative correlation. This study through the determination of young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes for bone mineral density and bone metabolism biochemical indexes, to reveal the different course of young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes progression effects on bone mineral density and bone metabolism and biochemical indexes. Methods:This study collected in the third affiliated hospital of nanchang university in August 2013- August 2014 young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes, 80 cases in the hospital, depending on the course set A, B two groups of parallel control group, the same number of group 40 cases of course within five years as A group, 40 cases of course for group B in 5-10 years. Serum samples from all of the patients, using Enzyme linked immunosorbant assay( ELISA) method to detect the serum osteocalcin, serum 25(OH) D3, serum Type I collagen carboxyl terminal peptidelevel, at the same time, the conventional detection Glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c), Bone alkaline phosphatase, Parathyroid hormone, blood Calcium, blood Phosphorus, Bone Mineral Density(BMD). Results:1. Course of 5-10 years young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes a course of less than 5 years of young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes significantly lower bone density(P<0.01).2. Course of 5 to 10 years in young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes osteocalcin, 25(0 h) D3 levels below course is less than 5 years of young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes(P<0.05).3. Course of 5-10 years young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes of serum type I collagen carboxyl terminal peptide were significantly higher than that of course is less than 5 years young and middle-aged male patients with type 2 diabetes(P<0.05). Conclusion:With type 2 diabetes duration extension, the bone resorption increase and bone formation decrease. The osteocalcin, 25(OH) D3, bone alkaline phosphatase, serum type I collagen carboxyl terminal peptide hormone secretion metabolism disorders, may participate in the development of osteoporosis. |
