Streptococcus pneumoniae is one of the main pathogenic of zoonosis, which is a major cause of meningitis, septicemia, arthritis, bacteriemia,bovine mastitis and acute/chronic respiratory diseases. Treatment of streptococcus pneumoniae mainly rely on antibiotics, but failure that dues to drug resistance is of common occurrence. Therefore, the isolation and identification of pathogenic bacteria were made in the diseased animals which have meningitis,septicemia or bovine mastitis in farms of Baicheng, Jilin. Then drug resistance detection and analysis were made to the isolated streptococcus then screening the chinese and western medicine mixture to induce the MSW of streptococcus. In order to optimized clinical medication scheme and induce the economic losses which due to the drug-resistance bacteria.The study collected 121 samples in Baicheng and obtained 33 isolated streptococcusw by selective differential agars, gram stain and molecular approaches.Double agar dilution method was used to drug resistance detection on isolated strains, the result of which showed that isolated strains were all multi-drug resistant, and were cross-resistant to six common antibiotics(β-lactam, quinolones, tetracycline, chloramphenicol, sulfonamides, macrolides) in different levels,12% of the isolated strains showed drug resistant to all the above antibiotics, more than 61% of which showed drug resistant to four or five antibiotics and 24.2% of which showed the lowest cross resistance rate to doxycycline and florfenicol.33 strains animal source streptococcus pneumoniae were under detection of 29 major resistance genes, in which P8,P9 strain carry the most resistance genes, however, P20,C2 strain carry the least resistance genes in all strains. 57.1% strains carry more than seven resistance genes.MPC of the isolated bacteria was detected by using two-fold plate dilution methods, MSW was determined towards antibiotics of isolated bacteria, MIC of alcohol extract of fructus trichosanthis, perrin against streptococcus pneumoniae, FIC was determined by checkerboard method. The results showed additive effect on the co-inhibition of streptococcus pneumoniae by the combination of fructus trichosanthis alcohol extract and ciprofloxacin, fructus trichosanthis alcohol extract and florfenicol. There was a synergistic effect on the co-inhibition of streptococcus pneumoniae by combination of perrin alcohol extract and ciprofloxacin, however, an additive effect on the co-inhibition of streptococcus pneumoniae by the combination of perrin alcohol extract and doxycycline. MSW was determined by micro dilution method. The results showed that MSW of streptococcus pneumoniae towards single drug can be reduced by the combination of of TCM and WM, which could effectively inhibit drug-resistant strains.
