Objective: To study the level of platelet parameter changes in the mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis patients,to explore relationship of the platelet parameters and clinical symptoms in mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis. Methods: 100 patients with mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis of the Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital which diagnosised by renal biopsy were slected as the case group. 70 cases of Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital Medical Center volunteers were slected as the control group in the same period.Record basic information about these patients.Collected the two groups’ indicators value respectively about the platelet count(PLT), mean platelet volume(MPV) and platelet volume distribution width(PDW),Plasma albumin, total cholesterol, triglycerides, fasting blood glucose, urine protein quantitative.( the value of all the indicators are provided by Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University Laboratory). The data are used SPSS17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis, measurement data are expressed as mean(`x)±standard deviation(s), person correlation analysis are used to the relationship between the linear correlation analysis.relations between the two groups using t test, and the inspection standards is ɑ = 0.05.Results: 1.A comparison between the two groups, the PLT,MPV and PDW leves in the Ms PGN group was higher than the control group, the results was respectively 212.21±78.85,12.2±1.44 and 19.64±5.3,there was significant difference, with statistical significance(p<0.05).2. The Ms PGN group by the Person correlation analysis which suggestsed the MPV was positively correlated with 24 hours urinary protein quantitative(r=0.309,p=0.001), there were significant difference, with statistical significance(p < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Patients with mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis which the PLT,MPV and PDW levels were higher than normal.2. The mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis patients,MPV was positively correlated with 24 h urine protein quantity, The PDW was no correlation with various clinical indexes.
