Nowadays, the rapid development of science and technology and the increasing attention that people have paid to their own health, caused a trend for the developers for monitoring physiological parameters. The expectations of people for the monitor to self-health and for social mechanism are no longer limited to get a medical treatment only when sick but expect to put medical treatment to pocket. However, with the widespread of the intelligent mobile phones in recent years, we do our researches on Android intelligent terminals. The Diagnostic Equipment of electrocardiogram(ECG) and respiration signals designed in this paper is based on the Android system, which achieves the diagnostic analysis of ECG and respiration signals on phone terminals.The main research of this paper lies in:(1)Designing a complete real-time ECG diagnosis analysis system. With the method of combining hardware and software, the system collects signals by the ECG equipment. Then the microcontroller processing module converts the signals from analog to digital. In addition, this paper also builds a central server as a management platform of database to achieve the reading and storage function of user data.(2)In the ECG signal pre-processing module, according to the different interference signals, this paper designs a four points smoothing filter, a sliding window median filter and a Butterworth filter to filter. Besides, a differential threshold method is used to make the spread duration detection of R wave and QRS wave group of ECG signals and an error detection algorithm is designed. By extracting the characteristic value, real-time diagnosis results are given with the branch decision method on arrhythmia.(3)This paper presents an algorithm of extracting respiration signals from the ECG signals under the single lead case. Via different frequency range of the respiratory signals and the ECG signals, ECG data are rebuilt and re-sorted. Then this paper designs a low-pass filter and a band-pass filter, re-samples signals according to the Nyquist theorem and extracts respiratory signals.(4)By separating the respiration signal, this paper makes a classification and diagnosis on the sleep apnea syndrome(SAS) and gives a warning message according to the decision of SAS.
