Cor Pulmonale Clinical Pathway Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Economics And Clinical Curative Effect Evaluation Research

Objective:Through the comparison and analysis hospitalization days, hospitalization costs, proprietary Chinese medicine costs, Herbal costs, western medicine costs,TCM clinical syndromes integral, curative effect of TCM syndromes of patients with cor pulmonale in department of cardiology and department of pulmonary disease in TCM hospital of Henan Province, and the improvement of physical and chemical indicators as neutrophils ratio and pro-BNP before and after the treatment, We can make the comprehensive evaluation on health economics and clinical efficacy on cor pulmonale clinical pathway of TCM, and provide clinical data for the further optimization and application support.Methods:We brought 62 cases into the non-pathway group in department of cardiology and department of pulmonary disease in TCM hospital of Henan Province from April in 2013 to March in 2014, and 62 cases into the pathway group in department of cardiology and department of pulmonary disease in TCM hospital of Henan Province from April in 2014 to December in 2014. Both groups were treated with conventional western medicine. By retrospective study, we collected clinical data and patient history of the non-pathway group in department of cardiology and department of pulmonary disease in TCM hospital of Henan Province. The pathway group were treated with TCM treatment protocols according to the clinical pathway. We selected the hospitalization days, hospitalization costs, proprietary Chinese medicine costs,Chinese herbal medicine cost,western medicine costs, integral of TCM clinical syndromes, curative effect of TCM syndromes, neutrophils ratio and pro-BNP as evaluation indexes.Results:As Cor pulmonale clinical pathway of traditional Chinese medicine being popularized and applicated in our hospital, patients who suffered Cor pulmonale hospitalization days (P=0.019<0.05), hospitalization costs (P=0.035<0.05) to decrease. Come for medicine fee structure, proprietary Chinese medicine costs had no significant change (P=0.454>0.05); Herbal application increased significantly (P =0.005<0.05); And patients western medicine costs decreased obviously (P=0.000<0.05), the resulting in TCM clinical syndromes integral(P=0.031<0.05) and curative effect of TCM syndromes(P= 0.005<0.05) improved significantly. The western medicine clinical indicators, neutrophils ratio had no statistical difference (P=0.134> 0.05) and pro-BNP(P=0.041<0.05) improved better.Conclusion:1 Cor pulmonale patients with the implementation of clinical pathway of traditional Chinese medicine can shorten hospitalization days and reduce hospitalization costs, highlights the pathway has a good health economics;2 Cor pulmonale in traditional Chinese medicine treatment of hospitalized patients with the application of clinical pathway can significantly improve the participation of traditional Chinese medicine, give full play to the special advantage of traditional Chinese medicine;3 Cor pulmonale, the indicators of clinical pathway of traditional Chinese medicine group were better than the path group, the clinical curative effect.
