purposeThis study focuses on the low b ADC values and standards ADCs of normal adults coherent, includes the cortex, corticomedullary region and the medullary region. The low b ADC values are measured in these regions, and determined some information of the renal perfusion. Thus in the molecular imaging, can we be evaluated for suspected patients of nephropathy?Materials and methods1. the research object:bilateral renal MR examination of41cases,23cases of male,18cases of female.2. MR imaging equipment and scanning standard.2.1scanner and patient positionScanner:GE3.0T MR HDXt superconducting magnetic resonance machine. Renal in the centre. 2.2scanning program and parameter setting:2D single shot echo planar multi b value of DWI scanning (echo-planar imaging, EPI-DWI):The DWI sequence of the b value,051020501002004006008001200s/mm2. TR/TE:5000ms~6000ms/67ms, matrix:128mm*128mm, directions:3, FOV:38-42cm2:, thickness7.0mm,thickness of space:1.0mm.2.3image and dataADC values:Automatic produced by the AW4.4workstation, selected the ROI of cortexes, medullas and corticomedullary regions, region of ROIs were collected for analysis of low b ADCs and standards ADCs. Low b ADCs threshold<100s/mm2.2~4ROI were Choosed and measured, and the mean value was obtained as ADCs. ROI size23~46mm2. The above results and calculation are performed by two radiologists.ResultsSelect the ROI cortex, medulla and juxtamedullary region of the low b ADCs,standards ADCs, its gender differences were compared between the two groups of numerical. Non paired t test showed that, both kidneys, male and female, cortex, corticomedullary area, low b ADC values and standards ADCs compari son, p>0.05, no statistically significant difference.ANOVA analysis showed that, both kidneys, men and women, standards ADCs, in the cortex, corticomedullary earea of medulla and comparison between groups, p>0.05, no statistically significant difference. Low b ADCs subcortical areas, corticomedullary junction three area of medulla and cortex and comparison, corticomedullary junction zone between group p>0.05, no significant difference in statistics. Cortex and medulla, corticomedullary area and medullary area between two groups, p<0.05, statistically significant differences.ANOVA analysis showed that the two sides renal cortex, medulla and cortex and medulla junction standards ADCs three compared groups, p>0.05, no statistically significant difference. Low B ADCs cortex, medulla and corticomedullary region between three groups, subcortex and corticomedullary zone between group p>0.05, no significant differences. Cortex and medulla, corticomedullary junction area and medullary area between the two groups, p<0.05, statistically significant differences.Conclusionthe low b ADC values can reflect the renal perfusion, especially in cortex and corticomedullary junction area.
