| Background:Heart failure (HF) is a common critical disease of cardiovascular medicine. It is the severe presentation of many cardiac diseases. Many patients cannot control their HF by using medicine. Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) has become an important part and effective method of HF therapy. Objective:Investigate the CRT of inpatient in our hospital, find the difference with the guideline, and analyze the reasonMethods and Results:Collect the information of97inpatients of our hospital, whose diagnosis meets the standard of HF, exclude the patients of acute myocardial infarction and the patients with cancer, hemorrhagic disease and mental disease. According to the2013ACCF/AHA guideline for the management of heart failure,19patients (19.6%) had indication of operation. Among them14patients (14.4%) were recorded as having indication of operation in progress notes,10patients (10.3%) were successfully implanted the CRT,1patient (1.0%) acute left ventricular failure broke out during the operation.2patients (2.1%) rejected the operation.1patient (1.0%) didn’t implant the CRT with unknown reason.5patients with the indication of operation were not recorded in progress notes. Conclusion:There is a gap between CRT in our hospital and the guideline, progress notes in patients who have not been implanted CRT are not standard. It is necessary to enhance the assessment of HF patients, especially the ischemic cardiomyopathy patients. And it is necessary to normalize the progress notes. |
