DiFengZi is from the Potentilla of Rosaceae and it is the dry root of Potentilla freyniana Bornm. and Potentilla freyniana Bornm.var.sinica Migo, also named as Potentilla freyniana Bornm.,Potentilla cryptotaeniae,tieniuzi,shanfengzi sanzhuajin,dizhizhu.et al. DiFengZi is mainly distributed in Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Sichuan and other places,usually g r o w i n g i n g r a s s l a n d s l o p e s, b y t h e c r o o k, u n d e r sparseforests,and wet places under the ditch.This medicine is conventional medicine in Tujia and Miao, its curative effect isremarkable if the medicine is used for long time,and there was no adverse reaction and side effect.Therefore,Di Feng Zi is a good herbal medicine of application value fordevelopment.In order to investigate the chemical composition of Di FengZi more comprehensively,author do further study on Di Feng Zi about its chemical composition.18 compounds were isolated and purified from its Et OAc fraction with macroporous adsorption resin,silica gel column chromatography,gel permeation chromatography,MCI and HPLC column chromatography separation.Among them, 14 compounds were identified on the basis of the physical and chemical Properties of compounds,spectral technologies and related article, they were Catechins(F1),4-O-ethyl-catechin(F2),Phloridzosid(F3), Euscaphicacid(F4),2α,3β-Dihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oicacid-(28→1)-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester(F5),Coleonolic acid(F6),1β,19α,24β-trihydroxyurs-2,12-2-en-28-β-D-glucopyranosyfl ester(F7),3-methyl ellagic acid-4-O-β-D-xylopyranoside(F8),Clethric acid-28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester(F9),niga-ichigoside F2(F10), eriodictyol(F11),6-C-methylaromadendrin7-O-β-D-glucoside(F12),β-sitosterol(F13),Daucostarine(F14).F2,F3,F8,F9,F10,F11,F12 are first obtained from this plant.The compound Catechins was used for the determination of different parts of Potentilla freyniana Bornm.var.sinica Migo for the first time which were produced in different Regions,To explore the medicine quality control method of DiFengZi,reveal the factors affecting the qualityof medicinal materials,expandthe medicinal part has good theoretical significance and practicalvalue,providing a scientific basis for the comprehensivedevelopment and utilization of guiding Di Feng Zi...
