Objective:To analyze application value of intravascular ultrasound(IVUS) on gu idance of interventional treatment for intermediate coronary stenosis. Methods:Selected 160 patients were proved to be coronary intermediate stenosis by coronary angiography from our hospital. The patients were randomly divided i nto two groups of traditional CAG group(n=100,accept CAG examination)and I VUS group(n=60,accept IVUS after CAG examination).Quantify coronary angiogr aphy(QCA) and intravascular ultrasound analysis(IVUS) quantitative analysis we re used to measure in minimal lumen diameter of coronary arteries, reference ve ssel diameter, diameter stenosis rate and area stenosis rate between two groups. To compare the incidence rate of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)d uring hospitalization and follow-up between two groups. Results:Compared with CAG group, there were no signficant difference in minim al lumen diameter, reference vessel diameter and diameter stenosis between two groups(P>0.05).But there were signficant increase in area stenosis rate(52.58±9.76mm2vs58.76±10.25mm2) in IVUS group(P<0.05).There was a higher tendency of incidence rate of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE) during follow-u p in the QCA group by Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Conclusion:Intravascular ultrasound imaging can be more comprehensive assessm ent of the intermediate coronary stenosis and to better guide treatment options an d significantly reduce the incidence of cardiovascular events and improve patient outcomes.
