Objective: Based on history and current situation of traditional Chinese medicine technology international communication and development, mine the deep meaning of traditional Chinese medicine international communication, analyze the obstacles and problems encountered in the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine at present, put forward referable strategies for the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine from different aspects.Methods: Through collecting related literature and data, summarizing the historical development of traditional Chinese medicine technology external communication, contacting the whole development situation of traditional Chinese medicine technology international communication, choosing Britain, America, and Australia three typical countries to analyze the communicational situation of traditional Chinese medicine technology of them: including the application of TCM technology, international education of TCM, TCM legislation management of those countries, and so on. To explore the problems of traditional Chinese medicine technology international communication, provide reference strategies for the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine technology.Results: The ancient traditional Chinese medicine spread abroad mainly in southeast Asia with a long history. The traditional Chinese medicine has spread to more than 160 countries and regions in the world, our country has signed 91 government agreements with with more than 70 countries(regions) for the cooperation content of traditional Chinese medicine; carry out 274 cooperation programs of traditional Chinese medicine with the world health organization and 42 countries and regions. The international communication of traditional Chinese medicine technology has profound scientific, technological, cultural and economic significance. Traditional Chinese medicine technology international communication main exists the following problems:(1) the eastern and western cultural background differences cause cognitive difficulty of TCM for foreign people;(2) some foreign legal system has affected the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine;(3) the approaches of international communication of traditional Chinese medicine development are limited;(4) traditional Chinese medicine own shortcomings factors in the international communication;(5) the quality problems of traditional Chinese medicine tourism development;(6) the problems of the translation of traditional Chinese medicine terms;(7) the problems of traditional Chinese medicine overseas talents. Through the analysis of the above problems, we put forward the strategies for better promoting the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine, mainly including:(1) make fully use of the " One Belt and One Road " strategy, promoting the all-round development of international communication of traditional Chinese medicine;(2) devote major efforts to promoting and carrying forward the culture of traditional Chinese medicine, to strengthen the propagandism of traditional Chinese medicine culture.(3) broaden the approaches of traditional Chinese medicine technology international communication;(4) speed up the formulation of traditional Chinese medicine international standard strategic planning;(5) speed up the policy implementation of traditional Chinese medicine foreign trade in services;(6) improve the quality of traditional Chinese medicine tourist foreign communication and development;(7) establish the translation principles of traditional Chinese medicine and unify the translation standards;(8) strengthen the talent team construction of traditional Chinese medicine international communication.Conclusion: Through analyzing the present situation of traditional Chinese medicine technology international communication, study on the existing problems, putting forwards the strategies of promoting the all-round development of international communication of traditional Chinese medicine by making fully use of the " One Belt and One Road " strategy, devoting major efforts to promoting and carrying forward the culture of traditional Chinese medicine, strengthening the propagandism of traditional Chinese medicine culture, broadening the approaches of traditional Chinese medicine technology international communication, speeding up the formulation of traditional Chinese medicine international standard strategic planning, and so on, those suggestions have important practical significance and profound historical significance for promoting the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine technology, and have great significance to the development of Chinese foreign trade in services, science and technology progress of traditional Chinese medicine, international education of traditional Chinese medicine, promoting cultural soft power of our country.
