Clinical Research Of Yi An Ning Decoction In The Treatment Of Refractory Heart Failure

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Yi An Ning traditional Chinese medicine decoction in the treatment of refractory heart failure, study the best therapy for refractory heart failure patients.Methods : From January 2011 to December 2013, 100 cases of patients with refractory heart failure, the condition treatment did not improve or even worse, the cardiac function in NYHA Ⅲ, Ⅳ, were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 50 cases in each group, the control group received conventional therapy, the observation group in the conventional western medicine treatment plus Yi An Ning decoction in the treatment for 8 weeks; Echocardiography, 24 h dynamic electrocardiogram and plasma renin activity were detected before and after treatment,analysis the changes of LVEDD, LVEF, average heart rate, PRA, AngII before and after treatment.Results: the two group patients cardiac ultrasound indexes of LVESD, LVEDD,LVEF after treatment significantly improved than before, there was significant difference(P<0.05); after treatment, heart color index of the observation group patients significantly improved compared with the control group, there was statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Total effective rate of observation group was 92%, significantly higher than that 64%in the control group, there was significant difference(P<0.05). Two groups of patients, BNP value, PRA value and AngII value after treatment significantly decreased compared with those before the treatment, there were significant differences(P<0.05);afer treatment,observation group compared with the control group,there was statistically significant difference(P<0.05). There were no significant difference between the two groups before treatment about SBP and DBP, the SBP and DBP of the two groups significantly decreased after treatment, but the observation group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05). The 24 h average heart rate in patients after treatment of the two groups reduced, but after treatment the two groups compared with no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: Yi An Ning decoction can effectively improve refractory heart failure patients with left ventricular ejection fraction, improve heart function, improve the quality of life of patients.
