Objectives:To explore the relationship among the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and cervical cancer FIGO staging and pathological features. Methods:A total of 107 cervical cancer and 20 cervical intraepithelial neoplasias Ⅲ (CIN [Ⅱ) patients were enrolled in this study. These patients were histologically confirmed with cervical cance and CIN Ⅲ in our hospital from January 2011 to September 2014. Patients wen; divided into a high NLR group (≥2) and low NLR group(<2.0), the correlation among pretreatment NLR and FIGO staging, pathologic characteristics were analyzed. Results:The range of NLR was 1.3-23.0 in patients with cervical cancer, and NLR was 0.7-3.2 in patients with CIN III. NLR was significantly associated with cervical cancer FIGO staging(P<0.001), but NLR was not associated with the tumor differentiation, lymph node metr.stasis and pathological type (all P>0.05)Conclusions:The pretreatment NLR is closely correlates with clinical stage of cervical cancer, NLR may be a cost effective and convenient new biomarker to predict of disease severity and prognosis in patients with cervical cancer. |
