Objective To investigate the effect of bile reinfusion on barrier function of intestinal mucosa in rats with obstructive jaundice and its mechanism. In order to understand the correlation of obstructive jaundice caused by endoxemia and intestinal mucosal barrier damage and intestinal bile. Methods Clean and healthy forty SD rats, were randomly divided into sham operation control group (group A,10 rats), the bile duct ligation group (group B,15 rats) and the bile duct ligation bile reinfusion group (group C,15 rats).B, C two groups to build the animal model of obstructive jaundice, group A to build the sham operation animal model. The C group from the first postoperative day began bile reinfusion (gavage method), A, B two groups of postoperative free diet. All groups of rats were killed on the eighth day after the success of modeling, extraction of blood from abdominalaortic, detection groups of rat serum endotoxin, malondialdehyde (MDA) and diamineoxidase (DAO) levels, and cut the bowel of terminal ileum for pathological examination, the detection results were compared to the mean statistics. Results Serum endotoxin and DAO levels:B group than in A, C two groups increases, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05), no statistically significant differences between the two groups of A and C (P> 0.05).Serum MDA levels:group B index with A, C two groups increased, but the difference between the groups was statistically significant (P< 0.05).HE films were observed under the light microscope showed:compared with A, C two groups:group B appear intestinal mucosal atrophy, villus of intestine shedding occurs、rare and disorder phenomenon, partial mucosa layer and lamina propria separation. According to Chiu’s score standard concluded: the difference between group C and group B have statistically difference (P<0.05).Conclusions Bile to obstructive jaundice rat intestinal mucosa barrier of structure and function has a direct role in protection and nutrition. Obstructive jaundice postoperatively, as soon as possible the bile reinfusion can effectively reduce the serum endotoxin level, prevent the occurrence of endotoxemia, improve the nutritional status and postoperative liver function, and reduce the inflammation and infection caused by obstructive jaundice. Obstructive jaundice postoperative bile reinfusion haspracticaland effective clinical application value.
