Objective: Small cell lung cancer is a very high degree of malignancy of a type having a recurrence and mortality is high. Different the curative effect and prognosis of small cell lung cancer patients there are individual differences, known more influencing factors, such as stage, age, gender, number of first-line chemotherapy cycle, etc. This study investigates the CEA, NSE, CYFRA21-1 of the three markers and the correlation of the recent curative effect and prognosis of small cell lung cancer.Methods: Cases selected from dalian medical university second affiliated hospital radiotherapy department since January 1, 2010 to January 1, 2012 Limited-disease small cell lung cancer patients, including a total of 59 patients were included in the study. All patients received EP 4-6 cycles of chemotherapy, underwent lung residual lesions and lymphatic drainage area three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy or intensity modulated radiation therapy course of treatment, Radiation dose:54Gy-60Gy/1.8Gy/30-33 f. Patients collected fasting peripheral venous blood before 1week and 4 weeks after radiotherapy. Detection of CEA, NSE, CYFRA21-1 content of these three tumor markers. And follow-up until January 1, 2015。To CR + PR statistics for efficiency(RR), with CR + PR + SD statistics for disease control rate(DCR).Results: 1. Small cell lung cancer tumor markers before abnormal or not single factor analysis of the impact of the recent curative effect: DCR of elevated CEA group was60.0%, the normal group was 87.8%, statistically significant difference between the two groups, P value is 0.033. Elevated CEA group and normal group RR were 40.0% and65.3% respectively, there was no clear statistical significance difference, P value is0.135. NSE increased group and normal group of RR and DCR respectively 40.9%,68.2%, 40.9%, 68.2%, and differences are statistically significant, P values were 0.015 and 0.019 respectively. Elevated CYFRA21-1 group and normal group of RR and DCR respectively 54.5%, 63.6%, 54.5%, 63.6%, and there were no statistically significant differences, P values were 0.626 and 0.057 respectively.2. Small cell lung cancer after treatment tumor markers anomaly or not single factor analysis of the impact of the recent curative effect : Elevated CEA group and normal group in the treatment of efficient and disease control rates, 50.0%, 62.5% and62.7% and 62.5% respectively, there was no statistically significant difference, P values were 0.492 and 2.777 respectively. NSE increased the disease control rates and effectiveness of group and normal group, respectively, 12.5%, 37.5%, 12.5%, 37.5%,and the differences were statistically significant, P values < 0.001. CYFRA21-1 the disease control rates and effectiveness of higher group and normal group, 38.5%, 61.5%and 67.4% respectively, 89.1%, DCR differences between the two groups was statistically significant, P value is 0.019, there was no statistically significant difference in between the two groups, P value is 0.059.3. Separate the analysis of small cell lung cancer markers in patients with abnormal in the near future curative effect before treatment:Three groups of RR and DCR CEA three groups were 0%, 0%, 40.0%, 80.0%, 66.7%, 66.7%, there was no statistical difference of the difference between three groups, P values were 0.717 and 0.185. Three groups of RR and DCR NSE three groups were 0%, 33.3%, 88.9%, 100%, 14.3%,57.1%, statistically significant difference between the three groups, respectively P values < 0.001 and 0.012. Three groups of RR and DCR CYFRA21-1 were 0%, 33.3%,80.0%, 80.0%, 66.7%, 66.7%, there was no statistically significant difference between the three groups, P values were 0.192 and 0.729 respectively.4. Before and after the treatment of small cell lung cancer, CEA, NSE,CYFRA21-1 three tumor markers and prognostic analysis of abnormal or not :Before treatment: CEA group increased median surial(MST) for 9 months, MST normal groupwas 13.4 months, no statistically significant difference, P value is 0.073. NSE increased group of MST was 10.5 months, MST normal group was 14.6 months, difference was statistically significant, P values < 0.001. Higher CYFRA21-1 set of the MST is 10.6months, normal group the MST for 13 months, there was no statistically significant difference, P value is 0.124. After treatment: Elevated CEA group of MST for nine months, MST normal group was 13.4 months, no statistically significant difference, P value is 0.581. NSE increases the MST for 9 months, MST normal group was 13.7months, difference was statistically significant, P values < 0.001. Higher CYFRA21-1set of the MST is 12.7 months, MST normal group was 12.7 months, there was no statistically significant difference, P value is 0.294.Conclusion: 1. CEA, NSE abnormal or not before treatment are associated withpatients in the near future curative effect.2. NSE, CYFRA21-1 abnormal or not after treatment are associated with patientsin the near future curative effect.3. NSE abnormal or not has certain influence on the prognosis of small cell lungcancer.In this study, the number of samples is less, this may lead to a certain bias of results,and this is a deficiency of this study. Significance about three tumor markers(CEA, NSE, CYFRA21-1) before and after treatment, and the treatment of its impact mechanisms need further research.
