| Background:Esophageal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in China. The occurrence and treatment of esophageal cancer growing importance of social. Surgery is the main treatment method. However, even in patients in early clinical cancer, there is still a high recurrence rate after surgery, the prognosis of patients with esophageal cancer described to a certain extent depending on its intrinsic biological behavior. This research is intended for different groups of patients with esophageal cancer using Aidi injection liquid, an anti-tumor medicine, and measured the levels of serum endothelial growth factor(s-VEGF) and detected surgical resection cancer tissue vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) protein and micro vessel density (MVD). The results appreavled the effect of Aidi injection liquid on esophageal angiogenesis.Methods:Observed a total of 46 cases of esophageal cancer,24 cases of patients in the experimental group before application of Aidi injection control group,22 cases not any treatment, double-antibody sandwich ELISA assay s-VEGF, conventional SP immunohistochemical staining of VEGF esophageal cancer MVD marked by CD 105 detection and observe the results discussed Aidi injection mechanism of inhibition of tumor recurrence and metastasis.Results:Serum levels of VEGF were 485.72±46.18 ng/ml before treatment and 463.48±37.23 ng/ml after treatment (P< 0.05) in experimental group, whereas there was comparable in control group. The relative tissue expression level of VEGF and MVD were both lower in treatment group than that in control group (VEGF: 10623.15±873.43 vs 11064.69±821.38, MVD:47.45±3.22 vs 50.37±5.69, P<0.05).Conclusion:Chinese traditional compound preparation, Aidi injection can adjunctively treat esophageal cancer via effectively reducing serum and tissue VEGF levels and MVD. Therefore, it can be used as a adjunctive treatment medicine for esophageal cancer. |
