Hypertension is a very common chronic disease in the elderly population, and it is the most important risk factor for cardiovascular disease, such as heartfailure which caused stroke and chronic kidney disease. These chronic diseasesnot only have a higher disability and even death rate, but also a serious drain onthe country’s comparative shortage of medical resources, resulting in a heavyburden to the patient’s family and society. When a patient’s blood pressure isgreater than115/75mmHg, there is a certain relationship between hypertensionand cardiovascular complications: whenever the diastolic blood pressure rise10mmHg or systolic blood pressure rise20mmHg, the risk of the patientsuffering from complications doubled. The number of death patients withvascular disease, there are more than50%caused by high blood pressure.The2013World Health Day theme,"control your blood pressure, reduce therisk of heart attack and stroke," shows that hypertension has become a publichealth problem of global attention. Hypertension is a common chronic diseasethat threatens human health, and it has been becoming the first cause of deathamong the top ten risk factors. Therefore, the effective control of blood pressure levels for improving human health has greatly practical significance. The controlof hypertension is the key factor to prevent cardiovascular disease, stroke, andcoronary heart disease. However, the awareness, treatment and control rate ofpatients with hypertension has been maintained at a low level, which broughtgreat difficulties to the effective treatment of hypertension. This paper attemptsto improve the control rate of patients with hypertension. By researching on therelationship between blood pressure and continued drug to assist doctorsprescribe for the patients, provide continuous medication guide and enhancesustainable degree of the patients’ medication. Therefore,to improve the controlrate and the treatment of hypertension patients and improve the quality of lifefor patients.Aiming at solving the problem of low control rate in patients withhypertension, this paper presents the prediction of hypertension drug efficacybased on fuzzy theory. Chances are that this research can improve patients’sustainable medication degree. Firstly this paper introduces the theory of fuzzymathematics. By the study of the relevant literature and summary ofhypertension classification, the high blood pressure is divided into three levels, and each level is described as accepted blood pressure (bpa), middle bloodpressure (bpm) and high blood pressure (bph). For a certain degree, theconception of hierarchy has some degree of ambiguity, therefore, by makinguse of the fuzzy mathematics knowledge of the patients’ blood pressure data isconverted to the corresponding ranges. Then, doing overall analysis for hypertension data provided by hospital, building beta distribution model, andmaking use of genetic algorithms for beta distribution model optimization. Atlast, by error analysis, and comparison with the corresponding linear distributionmodel, the experimental results show that the beta distribution model has higheraccuracy than the linear distribution model. The beta distribution model can wellpredict the drug efficacy.Hypertension drug efficacy prediction model presented in this paper aims toassist doctors to prescribe and enhance the patients’ sustainable medication. Thisresearch is an exploration work to use computer technology for the treatment ofhypertension, hoping that it will benefit the subsequent researchers.
