In order to investigate the effect of bacillus natto on physiological indexes, biochemical indexes and intestinal function of juvenile grass carp, in the basal diet(control group) were supplemented with0.10%、0.20%、0.40%、0.80%and1.20%of Bacillus natto, feeding average initial weight[(14.34±0.53)g]’grass carp total720, fish was divided into six treatments, three replicates per treatment, with40fish per replicate. The experiment were carried out for56days.Test result shows that when the Bcillus natto content exeeds0.40%,each grass carp juvenile WGR and SGR were higher than the control group(P<0.05)Studies on serum biochemical indices of juvenile grass carp shows that, with the increase of feeding bacillus natto, total protein(TP) and blood sugar(Glu) is on the rise, the blood sugar were significantly higher than control group(P<0.05)by adding bacillus natto, blood urea nitrogen(BUN) was firstly decreased and then increased, the cholesterol(CHO) decreased and had significant difference with the control group (P<0.05).Studies on serum non-specific immunity indices of juvenile grass carp shows that, with the adding amount of bacillus natto increase in diet, the content of lysozyme was increased, with a significant difference, the alkaline phosphatase(AKP) was higher than control group by adding bacillus nattok, With theaddition of bacillus natto improve, complement C3decreased gradually, when the content exceeds0.20%,the experimental group were significantly lower than the control croup(P<0.05), compare with complement C3, complement C4shows the opposite trend, adding content exceeds0.40%group was significantly higher than the control group. Alanine aminotransferase (AST) and aspartate aminotransferase (ALT) had no significant difference in each group.Studies of effect of bacillus natto on serum antiocidant indices of juvenile grass carp shows that, total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD) were significantly higher than the contral group byt adding bacillus natto. The glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX) of bacillus natto adding group were significantly lower than the control group. With the adding amount of bacillus natto increase in diet, reduced glutathione(GSH) showed a rising trend after the first reduction, catalase(CAT) activity on the rise, when the content exceeds0.40%, the experimental group were higher than the control group, anti superoxide anion (Inhibition-O2-) activity increased at first and then drop.Studies on the effect of bacillus natto on intestinal microflora of juvenile grass carp shows that, when the adding amount was0.10%and0.40%, total number of bacteria were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05), intestinal total bacteria and total number of bacteria similar, when the adding amount was0.10%the intestinal total bacteria were significantly lower than the control group, the lactobacillus were higher than the control group in each experimental goup, when the adding amount was0.20%,0.40%,1.20%, lactobacillus of each group were significantly higher than the control group, there was no significant differences in each group content of yeast and micrococcus (P<0.05), when the bacillus natto adding amount was0.10%,0.40%,1.20%, compare with the control group, the aeromonas hydrophila of the adding group were significant reduce.Studies on the effect of bacillus natto on digestive enzyme of juvenile grass carp shows that, when the adding amount was0.20%and0.40%, amylase activity of the adding group compared with the control group significantly increased, when the adding amount exceed0.40%, the lipase activity of adding group were significantly lower than the control group.
