Purpose: The purpose of this study is to observe the safety, immunological effectand immunogenicity of2-dose varicella immunization schedule with differentintervals. Methods:This randomized controlled trial involved1,200children from the age1to12. They were divided into two groups, treatment group and control group. Thetreatment group received2doses of freeze-dried live varicella vaccine. The interval ofthe two doses was3months and6months respectively. Blood was sampled before theimmunization and at the7th week after the immunization. The control group receivedone dose hepatitis B vaccine, and blood was sampled at the sme time. With themethod of fluorescent antibody membrane antigen (FAMA), the level of chickenpoxwas tested; also, the safety and immunogenicity of each group after vaccination wasobserved. Results:Beforethe inoculation, the serum antibody titers of control group andtreatment group of the same age had no statistical difference. Before the inoculationand during the second and thirdblood sampling, the serum antibody titers of thecontrol group of the same age had no statistical difference. After the administration of2doses with the interval of6months and3months, the serum antibody titers ofthetreatment group of the same age had no statistical difference.Theseroconversionrate had no statistical difference. After the administration of1dose and2doses, thepositive conversion rate of1-3-year-old group,4-6-year-old group and7-12-year-oldgroup was92.77%,92.06%,88.17%,99.40%,97.35%and95.70%, respectively...
