Objective: The application of PAD helps first-time outpatients to acquire knowledgeof grasping Insulin usage specification and Self-management skills, to explore the useof modern electronic devices in the initial insulin diabetes applications, improveself-management skills, reduce the incidence of adverse events and explore a newmodel of diabetes care. Methods: We have chosen190cases of patients who initially use the insulin in May2014-July2014. Randomly divided into two groups, The100cases of patients werenamed the test group and were made health education by using of new type electroniccommunications equipment PAD, the else90patients were the control group whichapplied conventional methods.3months later, by comparing the controlling of bloodsugar, related knowledge’s grasp of Insulin Pen, patients’ compliance and thesatisfaction of patients, the effect of health education methods will be observed in twosets of diabetes patients. This research uses EXCEL and SPSS17.0to establish andanalyze the database, by using methods of t test, χ2test and rank sum test, thedifferences of the evaluation standards between the control group and test group canbe calculated and analyzed. Results: In our study,190cases of patients with diabetes are analyzed, compared withthe control group which adopted the traditional health education, the experimentalgroup was introduced PAD to track health education, The results are as follows:①theexperimental group shows better blood glucose index than control group, and thestatistical difference is obvious(P<0.05).②The experimental group performs muchmore skills of self-management than the control group, the difference isobvious(P<0.05).③the experimental group experience less adverse events of badInsulin injections than the control group, the statistical difference is also obvious(P<0.05).④compared with the control group, The satisfaction of theexperimental group scores better, the difference is obvious(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.By introducing PAD to the healthy education of diabetes patients who use Basalinsulin, we can improve the successfully control the blood sugar.2. The diabetes patients using PAD to track healthy education grasp better knowledgeof skills of self-management.3. By using PAD to track healthy education, we have less adverse events, diabetespatients are more willing to treat diabetes.
