If the number offree radicals in the body become too many, it will affects the physiological balance of thehuman body, causing chronic diseases or aging[1]. As a kind of common clinical disease, thecardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are very dangerous. The relationship between thedisease with free radicals is constantly being discovered. The cause of cardiovascular andcerebrovascular diseases is due to high blood lipids, hypertension and atherosclerosis. In recentyears, the people who died of cardiovascular disease is very numerous, it became the first threebig killers of life[2]. The rates of morbidity, mortality, and disability are very high. Based on this,this paper developed a medicine to anti free radical, and to anti-oxidation. The medicine iscomposed of three traditional chinese herbal, which icluded salvia miltiorrhiza, rhizomaligustici wallichii and notoginseng. It can be used to antiing free radical, then reduce the risk ofcardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, alleviate the development of cardiovascular andcerebrovascular diseases.The aim of this experiment is to study the extraction process, preparation process, qualitystandard and efficacy testing of this soft capsule, and the results were investigated. The specificresults are shown below:Extraction technology: The salvia miltiorrhiza and rhizoma ligustici wallichii wereextracted by supercritical fluid technology. This method was made by actual operatingconditions and orthogonal test. While notoginseng was extracted by70%ethanol, the methodof this was chosen by orthogonal test to determine the conditions of extraction.The preparation process: For preparation of soft capsule, we screened the prescription andmade the decision. The peony seed oil was selected as the solvent inside, beeswax was selectedas the suspending agent. At last we mixed other auxiliary materials and the main drug togetherto make the medicine.The establishment of quality standard: The next step was to establish its quality standard.Quality standards included several aspects, such as character, disintegration time limit,identification, content determination and stability test etc. The main medicine in panaxnotoginseng for the three ingredients, and the price is relatively expensive, so the notoginsengwas used to texting by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).The salvia miltiorrhiza and rhizoma ligustici wallichii were tested by TLC as its quality standard.Study on the stability: The study of the stability test results showed that the stability ofpreparation was good.Study on the pharmacodynamic test:The rats with the ethanol oxidation injury were themodels of this experiment animals. After intragastric administration of the tats, the MDA,protein carbonyl, SOD and GSH were used as the indicators to evaluate the effectiveness ofanting free radical oxidation.Conclusion: According to the results of the experiment,this prescription which wascomposed by Panax notoginseng, Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge and Ligusticum chuanxionghort, could anti free radicals and had the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The componentsof this medicine were900g of Panax notoginseng,2000g of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge and1200gof Ligusticum chuanxiong hort, which could make1000soft capsules. On this basis,we developed soft capsule for health to anti free radical, and named as the shenqi soft capsule.Compared with the western medicine, this soft capsule has little toxic and side effect. becauseof its characteristics, it can prevent disease before that happened.
