China is home to Camellia oleifera Abel, tea cake contains a large number of tea saponin. Tea saponin molecules with hydrophilic polysaccharides and hydrophobic ligands, which is a kind of natural non-ionic surface active agent and an important industrial raw materials. In this paper, the oil tea cake is taken as a research object. Total aglycone was abtained by extraction in combination hydrolysis in situ. The optimum conditions were achieved as follows:the ratio of liquid to solid was20:1(ml/g), heated to reflux at100℃for5h in the solution of70%ethanol with2.0mol/L sulfuric acid.7compounds were abtained after repeated column chromatography, including Camelliagenin A,Camelliagenin B,22a-O-angeloy-barrigenolA1, Theasapogeno1F, Kaempferol, p-hydroxyben-zoic acid,p-sitosterol. By HPLC, the content of Camelliagenin A、Camelliagenin B.22a-O-angeloy-barrigenol A1、Theasapogenol F、Kaempferol were4.71(mg/g)、3.63(mg/g)、3.81(mg/g)、4.25(mg/g)、27.5(mg/g) relatively. By colorimetric method, the content of tea saponin was0.710%、0.664%, when using Camelliagenin A, Oleanolic acid as the control relatively.
