Objective:To observe the clinical effects of traditional chinese medicine(TCM) plus kinesitherapy on knee stiffness. Methods:Data in this research comes from the hospitalized patients with knee joint stiffness In rehabilitation division of Sichuan province orthopedics hospital.According to random, single blind and contrast trials, the sixty patients with knee joint stiffness are randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group with combined TCM and kinesitherapy, and the control group with single TCM therapy. Before treatment there is no significant difference between the two groups in such baseline information as gender, age and course. Using the KSS coring system and general project evaluation.Related index measurement are proceeded at the0week and the sixth week of treatment respectively. According to the TCM curative effect evaluation standard of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine on meniscus injury of knee joint, this paper aims to observe the muscle force, range of motion(ROM),and KSS score of knee joints.Non-parametric statistical method is used for enumeration data, and t-test for measurement data, to observe related index before and after treatment, compute the improvement rate, analyze and evaluate the adverse reaction.Results:1.At the sixth week of treatment, Pain assessment of knee joint are obviously decreased in both treatment group and control group; and there is no difference between groups.2,At the sixth week of treatment, ROM and muscle force of knee joint are obviously improved in both treatment group and control group; and there is significant difference between groups.3. At the sixth week of treatment, muscle force of knee joint are obviously improved in both treatment group and control group; and there is no difference between groups.4. At the sixth week of treatment, ADL score increases obviously in both groups; and there is significant difference between groups.5.At the sixth week of treatment, KSS score increases obviously in both groups; and there is significant difference between groups.6.In terms of comprehensive curative effect, the improvement rate is93.33%in the treatment group and86.67%in the control group. Conclusion:The therapy of TCM plus exercise for meniscus injury of knee joint is characterized with good clinical effect, no obvious complication, and practicshle operation, which contribute a lot to the application and promotion of the non-operation treatment for knee meniscus injury.
