Objective:The purpose of this study is through the modification of the Clinical commonly used electric drill,introduced the torsion sensor technology, achieve the improvement of drilling technology by signal acquisition system and the computer control. Through drilling in different experimental conditions, found in the drilling process rules, the side of the cortical bone torque data to calculate the lateral cortical bonetorque data, In the operation of femoral neck fracture can be through the torsion software setdata to control the electric drill in drilling depth, The drill bit to contralateral cortical bone can automatically stop drilling, and Solve problem of drilling operation in clinical articular surface.Methods:The first step; through the experiment of the drilling of30cases of bovine bone, analysis of the data, to find that different levels of torque data in drilling process, according to these data to calculate the relationship between the two peak, provide the basis for setting stop drilling parameters of the subsequent verification schemeThe second step:According to the ratio between the two peaks of the results obtained in the first step, set the stop drilling parameters, and in30cases of bone head experiment will be drilled using the oscillating saw cattle bones cut, Kirschner was observed in the femoral head of cattle position measurement from the tip of the femoral head cartilage Kirschner distance, this arrangement of the safety assessment.Results:Experimental Results OF The first step:the current signal can be found in drill significantly change between two peaks, the two peaks change portions represent portions of hard cortical bone, and there are two distinct changes in the steep drop of the current, namely, a first layer of the bit when the hard cortical layer into the second layer of the soft layer of compact bone, and is generated when the drill bit through the third layer, by spss software analysis, the first peak average is0.57; second peak average is0.79; peak ratio of the average is0.22.Experimental Results OF The Second Step:the peak of experimental results obtained in the first step the average ratio for the verification process in this experiment, second step,according to drilling through the first cortical peak set stop drilling parameters,that drilled peak second cortex, the drill can automatically stop drilling at settorque, will drill cattle bones use the oscillating saw cut open, to observe theposition of Kirschner wire in the Niugu in bone, measuring Kirschner needle from the femoral head cartilage surface distance, to evaluate the safety of this setting.The results show that, through this research method in the femoral neck insideinto the Kirschner wire, safety of up to93.3%.Conclusion:This research is feasibility for verification of the proposed control strategy,through repeated experiments to verify the reliability of the system, to achieve accurate drilling stop.
